Time: 1 hour (10 minutes prep; 50 minutes cook)

Makes: 1 loaf

Ingredients:

3/4 cup sugar

1 egg

1 stick of butter, room temperature

3 mashed, ripe bananas

2 cups whole wheat flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2. Combine and beat together sugar, egg, butter, banana, flour, and baking soda. Pour mixture in loaf pan and put in oven for 50 minutes (check at 40 minutes using a cake-tester to see if it's done baking.)

3. When done, let cool in pan for 10 minutes. Flip pan over ion cooling rack and ready to serve.

Notes:

This recipe makes a well-combined banana bread. If you prefer a more banana-y banana bread, add a fourth mashed banana and don't mash the bananas so thoroughly. You can also replace whole wheat flour for regular flour. F
